Ange Lavoipierre is an award-winning journalist, writer, and comedian. She's the host and EP of the ABC's new culture podcast, Schmeitgeist.
Before that, she was the co-host of the ABC's daily news podcast, The Signal, and has more than 15 years experience in newsrooms, covering everything from the rise of far right extremism to elections in Myanmar. Outside of journalism, Ange writes for Gruen (ABC TV). You can also find her on stages around Australia and the UK performing her one woman comedy shows.
She moonlights as the cello accompanist for acclaimed improv outfit Bear Pack (Steen Raskopoulos and Carlo Ritchie), and is one half of the original sketch series Impostors (Jane Watt).
