Allyson is the ABC's Middle East correspondent, based in Jerusalem. She is a multimedia broadcast journalist, with more than a decade's experience working for ABC News across radio, TV and online. Allyson was formerly the Queensland state political reporter in Brisbane, and has also worked regionally across the Hunter Valley, Alice Springs and Townsville. Allyson has won several media awards including best Queensland Regional Broadcast Journalist, Northern Territory News Breaker of the Year and an Australian Sports Commission Award.
